Can I apply on-line for a loan?

Yes! You can begin the application process electronically by clicking on this link, Apply Now and filling out the information asked.  You will need to have the following information available to begin your application

  • Your Social Security Number
  • Your address and phone number
  • Income information
  • Banking information

Are there any charges for applying on-line?

No. There are no charges for beginning your application on-line, and you are under no obligation to accept the offer presented to you.

What if my credit history is less than perfect? Should I still apply?

Absolutely. At TLC, we recognize that sometimes bad things happen to people. Unlike a bank, we want to listen and try to help you get the money you need to achieve your goals.

How long does it take from the time I submit my application to when I find out whether I am approved for a loan?

We will work quickly to verify key details and process your loan. Your loan can be approved the same day if we have all your information.  As soon as your loan is approved, we’ll send a request to your bank to deposit your funds. We always aim for fast loan funding typically by the next business day.

In which states do you operate?

Currently, TLC only operates in the States of Illinois, Missouri, South Carolina, Utah, and Wisconsin.

What are your hours of operation?

Our regular office is open Monday through Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm, or by appointment. Because we are passionate about what we do, you will often hear back from us before or after business hours, and on weekends.

Does TLC Report to the Credit Bureau?

Yes. TLC reports monthly to one of the major credit bureaus each month.

What affects my credit score? How can I learn more about them?

FICO Scores are calculated from a lot of different credit data in your credit report. This data can be grouped into five categories as outlined below. The percentages in the chart reflect how important each of the categories is in determining your FICO score.These percentages are based on the importance of the five categories for the general population. For particular groups – for example, people who have not been using credit long – the importance of these categories may be somewhat different.

How do I obtain a FREE copy of my credit report?

It is very important for you to monitor your credit report. Each credit bureau provides the opportunity to obtain a free copy of your credit report annually. You can contact:

About My Loan

What will the interest rate be on my loan?

The interest rate on your loan will depend on several factors including the type of loan you get, and your credit history. Will the loan interest rate stay the same throughout the life of the loan?  Every loan from TLC has a fixed rate, which means your rate will not change for the entire term of your loan.

Can I repay early or make additional payments?

Yes. You can pay your loan off or make additional payments at any time. TLC never charges prepayment penalty fees.
